Happy New Year.

We hope that 2023 will again be an exciting year to enjoy playing baseball with your friends. Our registration for our spring/summer season is now open.

Geneva Baseball Association is in its 34th year…here’s a bit about the program. We are a non-profit (501c3), community-based organization which offers both in-house and travel programs, as well as numerous player development training opportunities. Last year we served over 550 players! Our vision is to develop baseball players that love the game of baseball within the community of Geneva. Play with your friends! 

The Geneva Baseball Association would not be possible without the support of the many volunteers in our community. We are extremely fortunate to have the commitment of our Coaches, Board Members, Partners, and you, our members. 

Our Board is committed to improving the GBA experience every year. We are working hard to get ready for 2023 and wanted to highlight a few programs/dates.

SPRING 2022 IN-HOUSE PROGRAM

We continue to invest in our in-house program to offer the best possible baseball experience to our players. We place a specific focus on the finer details to improve the overall quality of the baseball experience. This focus ranges from the high-quality uniforms that are used to working lockstep with the Geneva Park District to prep and maintain our baseball fields. This year from Rookie to Pony, we plan on playing 14 to 16 games with a season-end tournament. We expect the in-house season to conclude prior to Swedish Days, weather permitting. Sundays will be kept open for make-up games. We hope to offer a Colt League in the late Spring/Early Summer timeframe for High School kids to play against other local community teams. Please take time to sign up as registration opens today. Given the supply chain concerns we are asking that you register as soon as possible, giving us ample opportunity to order our uniforms.

Coach Brad Wendell, the Geneva High School Baseball Manager, will lead a Coaches Clinic later this Spring at Geneva High School for both our In-house and Travel Managers and Coaches. GBA is privileged to have Coach Wendell supporting our organization.
